Ceremonies

I believe wholeheartedly in creating rituals to honor, celebrate, and name life passages and special moments. Of course, that includes “the big ones,” like weddings and memorial services. Life also includes other significant times  where marking the time feels important (i.e., divorce, adoption, new job, changing careers, retirement, receiving a diagnosis, illness, becoming a parent, new home, coming out, baptism, choosing a new name, etc.)  Creating rituals helps us hold space for what is actually happening in our lives and invites us to make meaning in seasons of major transitions.

Weddings

I am an ordained minister who enjoys working with people ready to commit to loving lives together by giving them a wedding that fits their core values and dreams. I am LGBTQI and Queer-friendly, and I believe we can define our families and loving partnerships. I would love to work with you to create the right ceremony that celebrates your love.

Celebration of Life/Funerals/Memorials

It might sound strange to hear me say this, but I absolutely love officiating funerals, memorials, and celebrations of life. Yes, they are often sad times, but they can also be times of hearts broken open in love. All the more reason to be together, drawing comfort from one another, and honoring someone you loved.

Speaking and Teaching

I offer presentations, sermons, and workshops to large and small groups, in conference halls, congregational settings, offices, and living rooms, on myriad topics, tailoring my message to the participants. I often weave images, songs, and poetry to enhance the message.
